Loving Guangzhou...and Jailin!
We are loving Guangzhou and are getting sad that our time is coming to an end. I want to stay longer. China is a facinating place and I can't wait to come here again.
Things with Jailin are GREAT! She has now adjusted to me as well, thank goodness! It just took her 7 days. We have figured out her schedule and she is very happy now. She is eating like a pig!!! She sleeps a lot, too. She's still very serious, but smiles a lot. She doesn't babble too much, yet. She's very curious and watches everything. She eats everything, but still needs pretty smooth textures.
She's gone swimming at the pool, which is gorgeous! There's a picture of her on the bed. It's when we 1st got into the room,
which is very luxurious and she went right for the bed and was so happy. It's my favorite pic!! She did great on her first plane ride. She fell asleep right before takeoff and slept throughout.
She really is amazing! Can't wait for everyone to meet her!

Jailin Smiling...
We are so in love with this girl! She melts our hearts and
the smiles are coming more and more. John and her are
in love and she is absolutely a "daddy's girl" at this point!
She will soon be a "mommy" and "grandma" girl too!
We are loving our time in Changsha and will be almost sad
to leave and head to the Westin. Changsha will always be
special as this is where we first met our daughter and is
close to where she was born. We have been able to
explore Changsha a little bit and are looking forward to
sharing this journey with Jailin.

Check out this grin...
Jailin is doing great! She is such a tiny peanut...only about
15 pounds! We will need to do some more shopping for
some smaller clothes ;)
She has the coolest teeth! We are getting more and
more smiles from this little lady! She is getting comfortable
with us a little bit more each day and is a delight to get
to know!

Our first glimpse
We received her picture on 8/3/07. Our agency called us the day before with basic information about her, but we were so excited to finally see her face!
