Happy holidays and Happy New Year!

Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year! Yes, of course I am very late in posting these pictures. I really do not have any hope of getting better this year, either. We had a very nice Christmas. Jailin had a lot of fun playing with her new things on Christmas morning. It was a lot of fun to watch her open her gifts. She was excited about everything, especially the wrapping paper.

On another note, I didn't get any cards out this year, either. So, I didn't forget anyone, I was just extremely lazy. Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful cards and gifts. It was so nice of all of you to think of us this season.

I love my Dream Petal Cottage from Santa.

Jailin's 2nd Birthday Party

Grandma made me an Elmo cake, isn't it beautiful?

My first glimpse of my play room filled with red balloons.

Did I blow out the candles myself?

I did! Yay!

Jailin turns 2!

I wonder what it is is. Can it be......?

YES! Be be's....... my favorite!
For those who don't know, be be is a washcloth that is my favorite comfort item.

Our trip to Disney World

We survived the happiest place on earth. Well, Jailin did, her parents are exhausted. We went to Magic Kingdom two times because she enjoyed herself so much the first time. She went on so many rides and she seemed to like them all. She did of course have some favorites, the spinning teacups and the carousel or the neigh neighs as Jailin would say.

My favorite ride, the teacups. I went on many times, thanks Gigi!

Oh, glorious spinning!

Disney World, the happiest place on earth!

Jailin cracked us all up when she played in the water. This was her signature move.

I had John take her on this ride thinking that she would love to drive the car, but I didn't realize that she wouldn't even come close to reaching the steering wheel.

Mom and Jailin

I'm flying on Dumbo

My first trip to SeaWorld.

Jailin had a blast at SeaWorld. She enjoyed seeing all the animals, especially the fish or Dorothy as Jailin likes to call them. Dorothy is a reference to Elmo's pet fish. Yes, this is proof that she watches too much Sesame Street.

My first look at a stingray, it kind of looks like a Dorothy.

I love the neigh neigh and I think this is a perfect size for me.

Think, think, think... how do I do this?

Ahh hah! So much fun making loud noise!

Our first glimpse

Our first glimpse
We received her picture on 8/3/07. Our agency called us the day before with basic information about her, but we were so excited to finally see her face!

Watch Jailin Grow...
