Jack's middle name, Bae, is a Korean name meaning "inspiration." We chose a Korean name to give him part of his Korean heritage just like we did for Jailin for her Chinese heritage.

Introducing...Jack Bae born at 11:59pm St. Patty's Day. Yes, of course he was born just in time, John is thrilled. He was 7.9lbs and 21 inches.

Happy Halloween from Disney World

We survived Halloween at Disney. We all had a great time, it was a lot of fun. We all loved Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, in fact we want to do it again next year. Jailin loved being Princess Ariel and Minnie Mouse.

Fall at Goebberts

Finally... pictures. It's been a long time since I have updated the blog. I lost a bunch of pictures when I was clearing my memory. I haven't been very good about taking pictures lately.

We have been busy lately, but things have been good. Jailin is getting bigger and is talking a lot more. So, needless to say it's been quite entertaining to hear what she has to say. She has been so much fun, I'm really enjoying this age except for the tantrums, of course. She has just gotten into Princesses, her favorite being Ariel from the Little Mermaid. Her favorite thing to do is dress up in her "tutu' and heels and dance. She especially likes to do this this with her friends, Mason and Luke. Yes, they dress up in "tutus" and heels, also. This has been good timing due to our upcoming trip to Disney World this week. We are Disney bound at the end of the week. Jailin is so excited to see the Princesses and Cinderella's castle. We have signed ourselves up for 2 character breakfasts and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. What WILL be scary is seeing what Jailin is like at midnight at the party. I think we may have been a little too ambitious with our activities. Wish us luck!

Jailin liked the elephants and the hippos the best. The hippo exhibit was awesome, she could get up close to them.

Jailin enjoyed feeding the goats a bottle of milk. Mama loved watching her until she tried to feed herself, YUCK!

Our visitor

We are so lucky to be surrounded by nature. First the turtle, now this little guy. We woke up to him one morning and had the pleasure of having him the entire day. We did get worried that Mama didn't come pick him up until 8pm. Jailin enjoyed watching him the whole day since we couldn't go out back to play. It was worth it! She named him Egg and now he is known throughout the neighborhood.
